Jesus continues his priestly prayer for his apostles, but this time his prayer extends to all believers and to those who are yet to believe in His name. This prayer unites everyone in faith in Jesus, emphasizing that faith is the foundation of spiritual life and the pathway to divine truth. The message of faith is the message of truth, highlighting that spiritual truth leads to salvation—being delivered from sin and eternal separation from God. Our salvation is from God, who is our refuge and strength, the ultimate protector in times of trouble. As Jesus preserved Paul’s life through divine intervention to carry out his mission of spreading the Gospel, so also God will make use of us, guiding and equipping us along our spiritual journey. God will make a way for us, opening doors where there seem to be none. Yes, the Lord of hosts, the commander of angels and armies, is with us—the God of Israel, our steadfast stronghold and present help in times of need. Let us pray fervently for unity of mind and heart among believers, and for diversity in sharing the talents and gifts God has graciously bestowed upon each of us. May peace, love, righteousness and charity reign across the face of the earth, fostering understanding and compassion among all nations. Amen.

Jesus uses the vivid imagery of a master returning and faithful servants awaiting their lord to drive home a crucial message. Those who stay vigilant and true when the master arrives will rejoice and be rewarded with eternal life. But beware—those who live wickedly and fail to repent risk missing out on the kingdom altogether! The question is: how are YOU preparing for the Lord's return? Are you fulfilling your duties with devotion and passion? Remember, to whom much is given, much is expected!   REPORTING LIVE FROM ROME GOOD SHEPHERD, I AM BLESSED AND SO THANKFUL!! (BEARING WITNESS TO A RARE OCCASION) 4th Sunday of Easter  Acts 13:14,​43-52 Psalm 99(100):1-3,5 Apocalypse 7:9,​14-17 John 10:27-30 May 8! What an unforgettable day! I had just wrapped up the final lecture of the day at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome with my thesis moderator, Professor Lewis Ayres. This is the same prestigious university that counts St. Pope John Paul II and Cardinal Francis Prevost among its illustrious alumni!  On my way home, I called my mom to wish her a Happy Birthday, reminding her of my dad’s passing on the same day over a decade ago. We had a good laugh about a seagull perched near the chimney of the Sistine Chapel when, out of nowhere, the news broke—“Habemus papam!” The Cardinal Deacon proclaimed it loud and clear!
