MONDAY OF THE SEVENTEENTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME
Exodus 32:15-24.30-34
Psalm 105(106):19-23
Matthew 13:31-35
What if God had chosen to whisk us straight to heaven the moment we believed? It’s intriguing to think that our journey toward immortality doesn't require us to linger here on earth. Picture this—someone can step into heaven and rejoice in the splendor of the saints in light, all while just having taken their first steps in faith! While our sanctification is indeed a continuous adventure until we finally shed our earthly bodies and enter the divine presence, there’s a fascinating truth: God could have brought us to paradise instantaneously if He so desired!
So, why are we still here? Wouldn't God want His beloved children in paradise without delay? Why do the valiant warriors of the living God remain on the battlefield when a single, triumphant charge could seal the victory? Why do His children wander through life's complexities when just a word from Him could lead them straight to their heavenly bliss?
The answer is compelling: we are here to “live for the Lord” and to lead others to His boundless love! We serve as sowers, scattering seeds of goodness; as ploughmen, preparing hearts for transformation; and as heralds, proclaiming salvation! We are the “salt of the earth,” strategically placed to make a difference in this world. Our purpose? To glorify Christ in every aspect of our lives. We are here as diligent workers, “working together with Him,” actively participating in a divine mission!
We each have so much to offer—skills, talents, and limitless potential just waiting to be unleashed! Let's ensure our lives fulfill their divine purpose. Let’s commit to living passionately, purposefully, and in holiness, all for “the praise of the glory of His grace.” As we embark on this journey, let’s keep our hearts lifted to Him who reigns from the throne, whose love is infinite and unchanging.
Wishing you an absolutely amazing week ahead!
AMEN! Thank you, Jesus.
