UPLIFT YOUR CHRISTIAN HOPE AND GIVE PRAISE TO OUR GLORIOUS SAVIOR WHO SITS UPON THE THRONE

The Ascension of Christ is a profound and awesome moment, marking the grand finale of his earthly journey with the Apostles and showcasing his stunning victory over Satan! As Christ rises to his rightful place in heaven, he prepares to send the Holy Spirit to empower his disciples. The Gospel of Luke captures this vibrant scene, ending with the Apostles bursting forth in celebration and praise! They finally grasp the profound lessons Jesus has imparted, realizing that the joy of Easter is just beginning, not ending!

In this incredible moment, Christ’s Ascension reflects the glory unveiled at his Transfiguration, but this time, it’s a collective revelation for all the Apostles! Witnessing this awe-inspiring ascent filled them with immense joy and hope, affirming everything he had taught them. And guess what? We, too, can embrace that same uplifting hope found in the Resurrection and Ascension of Christ! The messages from John 15 remind us this week: "Do not be afraid"; "I am sending the Advocate"; and "You are the vine, and my Father is the vine grower."

Our Lord Jesus Christ has ascended to His glorious throne in Heaven. The one who descended from heaven has now returned gloriously! This powerful truth embodies the Christian hope that the Church teaches—that where Christ, our leader, has gone, we too shall follow one day. He has promised to be with us until the end of time, and in response, we must carry forward His mission to the ends of the earth! Jesus is our light and our hope, guiding us to Heaven. In Him, we find the grace of His resurrection and ascension.

So, let’s dive into today’s incredible mystery of the Lord’s Ascension! Let’s lift our minds and hearts high above earthly distractions, transcending sin and evil, and focusing on the higher calling! Let us invoke the Holy Spirit to continuously guide and protect us. Amen!

"God goes up with shouts of joy; the Lord goes up with trumpet blast!" Let the celebration begin!

Alleluia! Sing to Jesus, He is the scepter, He is the Throne…
